Determining what kind of retail your community can support and refining a list of potential businesses to target are key steps in achieving your retail attraction goals. Once you've done this groundwork, how do you appropriately "pitch" your community's investment opportunities to particular retailers? This online webcast session will highlight what contributes to strong retail attraction marketing materials and will provide tips on how to verbally "pitch" retailers and developers at events like ICSC's Dealmaking Exchanges.

This webcast is part of a comprehensive six-month Applied Training in Retail Attraction and Dealmaking beginning in January and running through June. The program will help participants develop and analyze basic demographic data, identify retail gaps and opportunities and learn how to use national sources of demographic data to best market their commercial corridor to potential retailers and developers. (To access earlier recorded webcast presentations from this series, please visit www.lisc.org and click on the "Events" tab.)
